Summer Views (Summer Biannual Bibliothon Day 5 Challenge)

We’re getting closer to the end of the readathon, and honestly, I’m a little sad. This has been fun so far, but we’ve still got three more days to read our hearts out.

And three more days to do challenges. Today’s blogger challenge is called Summer Views, and it comes from Kay, who runs the blog BookaPlenty. The challenge is to describe your favorite/ideal place to read during the summer.

If I could, I would read outside, but Texas in the middle of summer is not the kind of place where you want to go outside if you can help it. So, for me, the best place to read is my bed or my kitchen table. So glamorous, I know.

If you want to talk about ideals, though, I could give you a list of places where I would love to read, if it were a reasonable temperature outside. I would love to go for a walk in the park, then sit down on a bench and read for a while. I would love to read on the beach, stretched out on a lawn chair with a giant hat and sunscreen, listening to the waves roll in, like the stereotypical movie image.

This is a really short post, but that’s about all I have for today. Time to get back to my book!

Thanks for reading! I’ll see you tomorrow!
