October 2019 Wrap-Up

Hey everyone! Long time no see.

Today I’m bringing you my October 2019 wrap-up. As you can probably tell by the fact that I haven’t posted on this blog since my TBR at the beginning of the month, I’ve been busy with my real-life responsibilities this month, and therefore I didn’t do great with blogging—or with reading.

At the beginning of the month, I gave myself a very small TBR, only 3 books—and I only managed to complete one of them.

I did start another book, though, but considering it’s 5:30 on the last day of the month and I have other things I need to work on today, I don’t think I’ll be finishing that. It’s a reread anyway, so I already know I’ll love it.

This month, the only two books I even tried to read were rereads. The first one, the one I actually finished, was The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan, which I loved, of course. I’d started it in September, so I didn’t have very much left to finish it this month.

The book I’m currently reading is The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson (also known as the first book in the Mistborn trilogy).

All in all, I think I could have done better, but I’m glad I still managed to do at least some reading during this crazy month.

Let me know down in the comments: what books did you read this month? Are you feeling a little slumpy, like me, or are you plowing through books like they’re nothing? I’d love to hear all your thoughts!

Thanks for reading, everyone! I’ll see you tomorrow with my November TBR!

-Ariel
