First Blogiversary + Birthday Special Announcement!

Hey, guys! This is going to be a short, but exciting post. You see, this past Saturday, the 18^th, was the first anniversary of this book blog, and next Tuesday is my birthday! This is a pretty good couple of weeks for me, overall. Honestly, when I started this thing, I wasn’t sure I would even keep going with it for a month, let alone a whole year, and I have no intention to stop any time soon. I’ve found something I really love, writing these blog posts, talking about books, and really, just being a part of this community of book lovers.

Although I make sure to respond to every comment I get and I interact as much as I can with my followers on Twitter, I want to do more to show my gratitude for all of you. I probably would have given up on this blog if it hadn’t been for this wonderful community.

And that is why I’m here for a very special announcement! In celebration of my birthday and my first year of book blogging, I’m doing a giveaway!

The rules are simple:

• Depending on the level of response this gets, 1 or 2 winners will be able to choose any one book they want under $20.
• The giveaway is open internationally as long as Amazon ships to your country.
• In order to enter, go to my Twitter (@wavesofpages), follow it, and retweet the pinned Tweet, which should be this giveaway announcement. I’ll give everyone who also follows this blog an extra entry, so if you don’t already, you should consider doing that, and then go comment on the pinned Tweet with a screenshot for proof.
